New, New, and New - Starting from scratch almost.

New, New, and New

With the arrival of the Fall Semester 2012 all is new again, at least for me.  I am at a new university, in a new department, and teaching a new class.   It is exciting to be teaching Introduction to Neurobiology at the University of Oklahoma because it allows me to combine my passion for teaching,  my experience teaching advanced neurobiology and biopsychology classes, and my research interests in neurobiology.

 Here I will share some of the rationale for why I teach the way I do, thoughts on how I might teach better, suggestions for students, and other commentary about the teaching and research enterprise.  More to follow soon.
